The Norwegian Institute of Public Accountants
The Norwegian Institute of Public Accountants is the professional body for State Authorized Public Accountants licensed by The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway to practice as statutory auditors in Norway.
The institute has 5500 members working in public practice as auditors and consultants both in the private and the public sector as well as in industry and in academia. Approximately 500 of our members are students working towards qualification as statutory auditors.
The Norwegian Institute of Public Accountants is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Accountancy Europe and the Nordic Federation of Public Accountants (NRF).
